Beverly K. Paulsen Recognized for Excellence in Retail Management
Beverly Paulsen celebrates the grand opening of Ocean Escapes Women's Relaxation Center
LECLAIRE, IA, September 8, 2011 /Leisure and Recreation PR News/ -- Beverly K. Paulsen, President of Ocean Escapes at Home, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in retail management.
After 40 years as a nurse, Ms. Paulsen incorporated her skills in nurturing and caring for others into creating Ocean Escapes at Home, an online store that offers a line of homemade bath and body products for women and men of all ages under the name "Simply Ocean Escapes." This vast array of ocean-themed products and inspirational gifts provide therapeutic and natural relaxation experiences at home.
On May 21, 2011, Ms. Paulsen expanded on her success and opened Ocean Escapes Women's Relaxation Center, located in LeClaire, Iowa. The store offers natural stress relief therapies enhanced by the comforts of the ocean and the aroma of lavender. Ms. Paulsen also holds classes on stress relief and women's health enhancement. On September 10, 2011, the Center will host its first Heart Health & Relaxation Day. The event will feature 14 speakers, 10 quality vendors, and a band will play in the evening. In honor of her success, she is recognized as VIP member of Cambridge Who's Who. She intends to continue devoting herself to her business in order to continue bringing comfort and joy to people of all ages.
Ms. Paulsen holds a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Medical-Surgical Nursing, both from Indiana University. She is a Hospice Nurse, a Certified Parish Nurse and is currently pursuing certification as an aromatherapist. Her professional affiliations include the International Council of Nurses and IAHPC. She also has a strong commitment to community health outreach programs in the quad city area.
